At London Shared we focus solely on the letting and management of shared accommodation in London, offering landlords expert advice on making the most of the London rental market and providing an unrivalled asset management service. Our team provide a bespoke hassle free solution to traditional letting and management methods. Though we originally launched in Hammersmith we have since moved to our headquarters on Parsons Green Lane in Fulham, providing easy transport links to our properties throughout Central and South West London.

Our story

We love London and we believe enabling young professionals to live and work here is key to the continued prosperity and vibrancy of the city. As living in London becomes less affordable we believe shared accommodation is the future, offering tenants quality, affordable accommodation and giving landlords the opportunity for greater returns on their investment properties.

Having started our business in 2007, we are now a market leader with a reputation for a premium service that makes capitalising on the demand for shared accommodation easy and affordable for landlords.

The team is headed by London Shared founder Jake Willis. Jake has over seven years experience in the London property market, having started his career at one of London’s leading estate agents where he quickly rose to a senior position. Following the steady growth of the London rental market Jake realised there was a need for a service which went a step further to advise and assist landlords, especially in the shared accommodation sector, so he set up London Shared.

Jake explains, “Before moving to London, I spent time living in different countries across the world where I really came to understand the importance of expert local knowledge. I realised that to get the most out the London market, landlords need an advisor who knows the market and can offer a level of service that makes letting their property as easy as possible. For the London Shared team this is our priority.”

The Future

We have a tremendous passion for what we do and we are excited to see that the shared accommodation market is increasing at a phenomenal rate. Word is spreading about our service and we are pleased to have doubled in size in the past 12 months and intend to continue to grow exponentially as more and more tenants and landlords start to see the benefit of London Shared and what we have to offer.
